Who is AV?
AV SurfAcademy is a surf academy based in Costa da Caparica, dedicated to teaching surfing with professionalism, safety, and a deep passion for the ocean. Founded by Ary Vaz, a surf coach certified by the Portuguese Surf Federation since 2017, the school was born from a lifelong connection to the sea, developed from an early age in the Cabo Verde Islands.
Surf Lessons
AV SurfAcademy offers surf lessons for all ages and skill levels, tailored to each student’s individual needs, promoting technical progression, ocean confidence, and an authentic, fun surf experience.
Surf Camp
A complete surf and lifestyle experience, designed for those who want to experience surfing beyond the waves. The Surf Camp, 6 days, including 5 surf lessons and several exclusive activities.
Boat Trips
AV SurfAcademy invites you to cruise the stunning Tagus River. Whether you are looking for a relaxing shared sunset or a fully customized private charter, our expert crew ensures an unforgettable journey with Lisbon’s most iconic views as your backdrop.
